Saving the Rainforest

The world's rainforests are currently disappearing at a rate of 6000 acres every hour (this is about 4000 football fields per hour). When these forests are cut down, the plants and animals that live in the forests are destroyed, and some species are at risk of being made extinct.

Needles to say, if we lost our rainforests, our planet would be in big trouble.

Perhaps there is no reason to panic just yet, but there’s no better time to become aware of the potential consequences to prevent irreparable destruction.

I am not a fanatical activist saving trees and animals.

I paint them.

My rainforest paintings won’t replace the living species, nor prevent the climate change, but they may remind you that we should cherish the beauty that still exists and make it a part of our home.
