The artist’s interest in current social and political issues is readily apparent in his use of national symbols.
A native of Poland, but deeply patriotic U.S. citizen concerned with the welfare of his adopted homeland, Tomasz devoted a series of paintings that comment on the tragic events of 9/11, it’s aftermath and the current national issues.
Respectfully, and to honor his native homeland, he’s also dedicated several paintings to Poland’s rich traditions and to its inspiring, iconic figures including Pope John Paul II and President Lech Walesa.
